Last week, the Payslip team had the pleasure of attending Payroll Congress 2025 and it was another wonderful week of connections and collaboration with the industry’s best professionals.
From opening night to the final session, it was a packed and energizing few days. We kicked things off in style by co-hosting a welcome party with our partners at Workday, reconnecting with friends and peers from across the payroll industry and meeting plenty of new faces too.
One of the week’s major highlights came from the main stage, where our CEO and founder, Fidelma McGuirk, led a series of three speaker sessions focused on Leveraging Technology, Data Automation, and Payroll Transformation. These discussions explored the path to global standardization and how organizations are using automation and analytics to take control of their payroll operations.

She was joined by an exceptional group of speakers, Maggie Hoang from Workday, Priti Rughani from our client King & Spalding, and Eira Jones from Deloitte. We’re incredibly grateful to them for sharing their time, experience, and vision with the audience. The sessions sparked insightful questions and thoughtful conversations, both in the room and afterward at our booth.
Speaking of the booth, we had a steady stream of visitors throughout the event. Some came for our famous socks, others came for the Payslip branded suncream. But mainly they came to talk payroll transformation. Many of the people we spoke to are currently exploring or actively navigating their own transformation journeys. The themes we heard repeatedly? The need for global visibility, better reporting, stronger governance, and more time back for teams. Our platform’s ability to harmonize, standardize, and automate complex payroll operations resonated deeply, and we’re excited to continue those conversations in the weeks ahead.

Before we wrap up, we want to extend a huge congratulations to Mary Holland, CPP, Global Payroll Advisor, on receiving the Global Vision Award. This well-earned recognition reflects Mary’s incredible dedication and influence in shaping the global payroll industry. A true champion of progress and collaboration, and someone we’re proud to know and work alongside.

To everyone who attended the sessions, stopped by our booth, or joined the celebration; thank you. It’s your energy, ideas, and commitment that keep this industry evolving, and we’re thrilled to be part of that journey.
We’ll see you in Nashville in 2026!
