With the world still in the grips of a global pandemic, it is more important than ever to take time out of our busy schedules, to think of others in need and consider ways that we can help out. Multinational companies around the world have a social responsibility to engage with and help out where possible, and Payslip has always felt it important to connect with the local community in Varna in a meaningful way.
We were therefore delighted at the opportunity to contribute to St. Anna, a local hospital in Varna, Bulgaria. The Neonatal Department at St Anna’s provides care and medical supervision to new-born babies. They treat a range of distressing illnesses such viral infections, respiratory failure and complications arising from premature birth.
Payslip donated important medical equipment which helps key medical staff deliver the best care possible to babies in need. Members from the Varna team recently visited the hospital where they with the whole medical team including Mirena Simeonova – a senior midwife, who was delighted to accept the donation on behalf of the Neonatal Department and share some information about the important work these dedicated professionals do at the hospital.
Payslip has plans to contribute more to this wonderful hospital in the future and assist them with purchasing crucial medical equipment.
